A Muslim boy entered Garba festival in Guna to play dandiya, Hindu Jagran Manch activists created ruckus

Guna. There was a ruckus during the Garba festival in Navaratri in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The Garba program was organized by a private committee, but the protocols were not followed in the program, which infuriated Hindu organizations. The committee was already instructed that no Muslim youth would be allowed to play dandiya in Garba. But 17 Muslim youths were found playing dandiya in the Garba program. When the youth present in the program protested against this, there was a ruckus. Seeing the dispute, 14 Muslim youths ran away but 3 youths were caught. As soon as the news was received, workers and leaders of Hindu Jagran Manch also reached the Garba program.

As soon as the information about the ruckus was received, the police also reached the venue and caught the Muslim youths and took them to the police station. Action has been taken to send them to jail by registering a case against the three youths. The three Muslim youths who were caught had reached the program to perform Garba in Hindu attire. When attempts were made to contact the members of the organizing committee regarding the program, they were seen avoiding. However, the Hindu organization has also complained to the City Police Station to register an FIR against the organizing committee.

Hindu Jagran Manch convenor Keshav Sharma alleged that Muslim youths are promoting ‘love jihad’ under the guise of dandiya. The organizing committee also had to give entry to the program only after seeing the identity card. But deliberate negligence was done with the aim of increasing the crowd. FIR will also be registered against the organizing committee.

City Police Station TI Brajmohan Singh Bhadauria said that after receiving the information, three youths were caught and brought to the police station. The youths had reached the program to play Garba. Action will be taken against them.

District in-charge minister Govind Singh Rajput also expressed displeasure in this matter and said that everyone goes to the programs of their respective communities, but I will also get the Guna incident investigated. Muslim organization official Noorullah Yusuf Zai said on the action against Muslim youths that they were issued entry passes, so they went to play dandiya.
