Why did RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reach the house of a Bal Swayamsevak? What message does the Sangh want to give?

Lucknow: This is the centenary year of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat was on a visit to Aligarh for the last several days, but on Saturday morning he did something that caught everyone’s attention.

On Saturday morning, Mohan Bhagwat suddenly reached a locality in Aligarh, rang the doorbell of a house and asked, “Is this the house of a Bal Swayamsevak?” The family members were surprised when they saw Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat at the door of their house.

In fact, this is the house of Bal Swayamsevak Vibhor Sharma, whose father Vibhakar Sharma himself is a volunteer of the Sangh and regularly goes to the branch.

Vibhor, who is just 6 years old, is adept at wielding a lathi. Special training is given in the branch of the Sangh for wielding a lathi, which is considered an integral part of the branch. Vibhor can wield a lathi for several hours.

Mohan Bhagwat himself has once been the physical head of the Sangh and was an expert volunteer in wielding a lathi. When he got information about Vibhor, he himself went to his house to meet him.

In fact, on the occasion of its centenary year, RSS has set many goals for its branches: to open a branch in every locality, to reach the Sangh to every house, and to prepare as many volunteers as possible, so that even after 100 years, new volunteers can keep the Sangh young. If the 100-year-old RSS has to be kept young, then the child volunteers will be its backbone, who will take it to the next generation. By visiting the house of this child volunteer, the Sangh chief gave the message that the branch is the priority of the Sangh, not politics.

On one hand, RSS is busy preparing for its centenary year, on the other hand it is trying to ensure the participation of as many people as possible in its branches. Mohan Bhagwat’s visit to the house of a child volunteer shows that even though he is the Sangh chief, how serious the organization is about a branch and a volunteer.

Mohan Bhagwat used this occasion to give the message that the most important ladder for the Sangh is the branch.

The RSS chief spent about half an hour at Vibhor’s house, interacted with his family and gave his blessings. Vibhor’s father Vibhakar Sharma is himself a volunteer, organises shakhas, and has worked in the IT sector. He has deeply established the values ​​of the RSS in his family.
