Vayve Mobility to unveil Eva, India’s first solar car, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 – New Delhi

National: Vayve Mobility, a new age OEM (original equipment manufacturer) that has pioneered the concept of solar electric cars, in a landmark move, will showcase the much-awaited Eva, a compact electric car that will revolutionize the way India drives. The exclusive preview will happen at the Auto Expo in New Delhi between January 17 and 25.

Eva has already been a hit and has garnered attention from thousands of visitors during the Auto Expo 2023, when the car made its first public appearance. The company embarked on the idea because the need for innovative urban transportation solutions has never been greater.

In the bustling metropolises of India, where traffic congestion and parking spots are everyday challenges, Eva has been carefully designed to redefine the urban commute experience. Compact, efficient and eco-friendly, Eva aims to make city driving not just convenient, but also enjoyable at the same time.

With an industry-best turning radius, Eva has a top speed of 70 kmph, making it suitable for city trips and more. A quick acceleration of 0 to 40 kmph in just 5 seconds gives the car a peppy feel ensuring that no experience is compromised during everyday trips.

Along with superior speed, Eva is also cost efficient. The running cost of a petrol hatchback is Rs 5 per kilometre, but Eva slashes it to a tenth (1/10th) to Rs 0.5 per kilometre, as a result of its high efficiency due to its smaller size and lighter weight.
