Prayagraj. Police force suddenly arrived in front of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) at 8:00 am and dragged away some students. Among them was student leader Ashutosh Pandey who was leading the protest at that time. In this tussle, many girl students sitting on the protest also got injured. All the police personnel were without uniform.
The girl students say that there was no female police personnel with them. The girl students have also been misbehaved with. Now the girl students have taken over the front and are leading the protest themselves. The situation remains tense at the spot. Barricading has been done more around the protest site. The students are raising slogans against the police administration.
Three including SP leader jailed for vandalism outside the commission
Earlier, major action was taken on Wednesday in the case of breaking the government barrier, coaching board and creating unrest during the ongoing protest outside UP Public Service Commission. Police sent three people including SP leader to jail. Cases were registered against two people including SP leader a day before while another accused was challaned for disturbing peace. Efforts are on to identify the unknown accused.
Among the accused sent to jail are SP Lohia Vahini’s national general secretary Raghavendra Yadav, Abhishek Shukla and Shashank Dubey. Raghavendra and Abhishek are named accused in the case registered in Civil Lines police station. Raghavendra is originally from Jaunpur and Abhishek is from Mirzapur.
Police claim that both were involved in breaking the government barrier and coaching board on Tuesday. They have been identified from video footage. In Civil Lines police station, FIR was registered against a total of 12 people on the complaint of Lok Seva Aayog outpost in-charge Krishnamurari Chaurasia. Of these, two were named while the rest were unknown. Police is busy searching video footage to identify the unknown accused.
Had come to forcefully close the coaching
According to the police, the third accused Shashank who has been sent to jail is originally from Karora, Auraiya, who lives here and calls himself a competitive student. He was among the 10 people who were detained on Tuesday on charges of creating unrest under the guise of agitation. Nine of these were granted bail by the ACP court but Shashank was sent to jail. It is also alleged that Shashank had come to forcefully close the coaching and was also trying to spoil the atmosphere near the commission.

In the FIR by the outpost in-charge, it has been alleged that on Tuesday at around 1 pm, some unruly elements climbed on the government iron mobile barrier and broke the coaching board installed on the municipal corporation pole in front of the commission’s gate number two. The government barrier was also damaged.
