Gulf countries currently have zero income tax.
On this news, an Indian textile businessman from Muscat said, ‘9% income tax will be a new burden. Due to the imposition of income tax, many Indians will be forced to send their families to India to reduce expenses. Apart from this, Indian businessman Jatin Palani from Muscat said, ‘The new income tax system will also affect the company’s shareholders.
The General Secretary of the Indian Business Council in Dubai said, ‘Kuwait is the only country in the Gulf where there is no tax of any kind. But according to the new rules of the UN Banking Board, all countries will have to impose a minimum of 15% tax. In such a situation, the tax system will soon be implemented in Kuwait as well.
