‘The finance minister is sitting next to me, I will tell them that the income tax people will not come…’, PM Modi told the beneficiary of Mudra Yojana

New Delhi: On the occasion of completion of 10 years of Mudra Yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the beneficiaries of Mudra Yojana on Tuesday. During this, there were some occasions when PM Modi talked to people in a humorous manner.

In the program organized at the Prime Minister’s residence, PM Modi said that this scheme is not for Modi. It is for the needy. Nothing is impossible for the people of India. The journey of the beneficiaries is inspiring. Mudra Yojana is for the youth of the country. It is to make the youth stand on their feet.

During this, PM Modi asked a beneficiary that what is your income at present? Seeing the hesitation of that person, PM Modi said that the finance minister is sitting next to me, I will tell him that the income tax people will not come. Everyone started laughing loudly at this.

Let us tell you that Mudra Yojana was started on April 8, 2015. Due to this, every year 5.14 crore jobs have been created under the Mudra scheme. Under this scheme, the government has given loans worth 53 lakh crores in ten years.

PM Modi said in a social media post that on the occasion of completion of 10 years of Mudra scheme, I had invited Mudra beneficiaries from all over the country to my residence. The beneficiaries told us how this scheme has brought about a change in their lives.
