Actually, the team has been searching for the leopard here for the last 7 days, but they have not been able to find any clue yet. At the same time, there is an atmosphere of panic among the people. A few days ago, an attempt was made by the former MLA to catch the man-eating leopard with a mosquito net, but no clue was found anywhere.
The people of Tarai village are also running a search campaign to find the leopard. The forest department team says that the leopard is missing, so it must have gone towards the forest. Which has injured four people so far. After this, the movement of the leopard is not visible.
Forest department officials say that monitoring is going on regarding the leopard. Rewa Forest Department along with the team of Uttar Pradesh Forest Department had conducted a joint search operation to catch the leopard. In which success has not been achieved so far. Due to the absence of the leopard, an atmosphere of fear has prevailed in the surrounding rural areas. People are confined to their homes. According to the information received, the condition of the four people injured in the leopard attack is said to be stable. They have been identified as Ramsagar Kol, Bhairav Prasad Kol, Suraj Kol and Brijlal Kol.
Jawa police station in-charge Kanhaiya Baghel said that the leopard was hiding in the mustard field. As soon as it got the chance, it injured four people. After this, the leopard was not seen in the area, but people are scared. Additional SP Vivek Lal gave information and said that the villagers have been appealed to be alert. At the same time, Forest Department officer Hriday Lal Singh says that the age of the leopard is about 5 to 6 years. After attacking on December 27, no movement of it has been seen yet. Despite this, the forest department team is constantly monitoring closely. Therefore, people need not be afraid, they should still remain alert so that no untoward incident occurs. At the same time, some villagers say that the leopard comes out to look for its prey only at night and during the day it must be hiding somewhere in the fields.
