New Delhi. In Delhi, bomb threats were given to many schools through email in the past. Now Delhi Police has made a shocking disclosure in this case. Police said that in about 3 schools, this threat was given by the students of the same schools.
According to the information, one of the schools that received bomb threats was Venkateshwar Global School, which received a threatening email a day after the mysterious explosion in Rohini Prashant Vihar PVR multiplex on November 28. The police officer said that this email was sent by siblings studying in the same school as they wanted the examination to be postponed.
The officer said, during counseling, both the students revealed that they got this idea in their mind from previous incidents of bomb threats to schools. They were allowed to go after their parents were warned.
Similarly, according to another police officer, two more schools in Rohini and Paschim Vihar were sent threatening emails by their students. The reason for this was also that the students wanted the school to remain closed.
Threats to more than 100 schools in 11 days
Bomb threats have created panic in more than 100 schools in Delhi in the last 11 days. Police have found that the emails were sent through VPN (Virtual Private Network), making it difficult for them to trace the culprits. More than 50 bomb threat emails since May this year have created an atmosphere of fear not only in schools but also in hospitals, airports and airline companies in Delhi.
