Manali: Due to fog in Solang Nala of Manali in Himachal Pradesh, there was a jam of vehicles on Monday, where 60 to 70 vehicles are still stuck. The stranded vehicles will soon be removed from there and sent to Manali. According to DSP Manali, the weather has already improved, but driving is becoming difficult due to accumulation of snow on the road. Earlier, more than 1000 vehicles were stuck from Solang Nala to Atal Tunnel. The administration claims that these vehicles have been safely evacuated.
Meanwhile, 30 and 2 national highways of the state have been closed amid snowfall in Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, electricity and water connections have also been cut off in the divisional areas of some districts. Due to the changing weather and snowfall, public services in the state have been badly disrupted.

Let us tell you that after the snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, a large number of tourists are reaching Shimla and Manali including Kufri, Narkanda and Solang Valley. The mountains here are also seen filled with snow.
Meteorological department officials said that apart from the nearby tourist places Kufri and Narkanda, snowfall has also occurred in high areas like Kharapathar, Chaudhar and Chanshal. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in the middle and high areas on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning of dense fog in the Bakra Dam reservoir area of Mandi and some parts of Balh Valley from 24 to 26 December. During this period, dense frost is likely in different parts of the lower hills.
