Senior BJP leader commits suicide in MP, shoots himself after closing the door

Chhindwara: BJP leader and former Municipal Council President Kanhai Ram Raghuvanshi committed suicide in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. People of the city were shocked as soon as they came to know about the incident. The incident is said to have happened at 10:30 am today. Kanhai Ram Raghuvanshi was considered a senior BJP leader in the city, it is being told that he closed the door of his bungalow in Ganesh Colony and shot himself. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating.

It is being told that former Municipal Council President Kanhai Ram Raghuvanshi was in his house, but suddenly he went inside with his 15 bore rifle and shot himself. He had locked the door from inside, so as soon as the sound of gunshot came, the family ran towards his room, where the door was locked from inside, so when the family broke the door and reached inside, everyone was shocked, because his dead body was lying inside.

At present, Chhindwara police is investigating the matter, but nothing is being said about why he took this step, while as soon as the people and his supporters in the city came to know about the matter, a crowd started gathering at his house. Many BJP leaders have also reached his house.

Kanhairam Raghuvanshi has been a senior BJP leader, he has also been the president of Nagar Palika for 10 years, in BJP he is considered close to the Assembly Speaker, senior BJP leader Narendra Singh Tomar.
