New Delhi: People across the country are shocked after the case of adulterated ghee in the laddus served as prasad in Tirupati temple came to light. A verbal war has also started between two big South actors Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj over the adulteration of fat in the ghee of laddus. When Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Telugu film star Pawan Kalyan wrote a post on social media in this matter, Prakash Raj criticized his words. Now Pawan has responded to it.
What did Prakash Raj say?
After this matter came to light, Pawan Kalyan said that he was very hurt by this. In his post, he further wrote that perhaps now the time has come to form a ‘Sanatan Dharma Rakshan Board’ at the national level which will keep an eye on issues related to temples across India.
Reacting to Pawan’s statement, famous actor Prakash Raj wrote on social media, ‘Dear Pawan Kalyan, this has happened in the state where you are the Deputy Chief Minister. Please investigate, find the culprits and take strict action. Why are you sensationalizing this issue and want to make it big at the national level? There is already a lot of communal tension in the country (thanks to your friends sitting in the Center).’
Pawan Kalyan said ‘Secularism should be mutual’
Responding to Prakash Raj’s statement, Pawan Kalyan has now said that he is talking about the ‘sanctity of Hinduism and adulteration in food items’. According to ANI, Pawan said, ‘Why should I not speak on these matters? I respect you Prakash Raj, and when it comes to secularism, it should be mutual. I don’t understand why you are criticizing me? Can’t I speak about the attack on Sanatan Dharma? Prakash should learn this lesson. The film industry or anyone should not take this issue lightly, I am very serious about Sanatan Dharma.’
Pawan further said that Sanatan Dharma is the most important for him and every Hindu should take responsibility in this matter. Ending his statement, Pawan said, ‘If this had happened in any other religion, there would have been a huge movement.’
Earlier, Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu had also expressed displeasure over Prakash’s social media post on Pawan. Vishnu had said, ‘Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has raised the demand for strict investigation and action so that such sacred traditions can be protected. When you are raising this issue, you should think where is the communal color being mixed in it?’
