    Projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore in 100 days, know where Modi government invested how much money

    New Delhi: Modi government 3.0 has completed the first 100 days of its tenure. Projects worth about Rs 15 lakh crore were started by the government in the first 100 days. In which special attention has been given mainly to infrastructure development, health services, science and technology, energy, security roads, railways, ports etc.

    PM Modi mentioned his 100-day tenure in Gandhinagar on Monday, when he was addressing the fourth edition of the Global Renewable Energy Investors Meet and Expo (RE-Invest 2024). He said that not only India but the whole world feels that India is the best option for the 21st century.

    The Prime Minister said, ‘In the first 100 days of the third term of the Central Government, you can see our priorities, speed and scale. We have tried to address every sector and issue necessary for the rapid progress of the country.’ The sectors which the government has given priority to in the first 100 days are as follows-

    Development of infrastructure- Projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore were approved in 100 days on the development of infrastructure, in which special attention has been given to roads, railways, ports and airways. Vadhavan Mega Port in Maharashtra was approved at a cost of Rs 76,200 crore, which will be among the top 10 ports in the world. Under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana-4: Construction/upgradation of 62,500 km of roads and bridges was approved to connect 25,000 villages by road with central assistance of Rs 49,000 crore. An investment of Rs 50,600 crore has been approved to strengthen India’s road network. 8 National High-Speed ​​Road Corridor projects spanning 936 km were approved.

    Kisan Mitra Modi- 17th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi was released. ₹20,000 crores were distributed to 9.3 crore farmers. According to the government, so far ₹3 lakh crores have been distributed to a total of 12 crore 33 lakh farmers. Apart from this, MSP (minimum support price) for Kharif crops was increased for 2024-25 and Polavaram irrigation project was approved in Andhra Pradesh with an allocation of ₹12,100 crore.

    Relief to the middle class – Giving relief to the middle class, there will be no tax on income up to Rs 7 lakh. Apart from this, salaried persons can save up to Rs 17,500 in taxes. The exemption limit for family pension has been increased to ₹25,000. The Finance Minister has said that the Income Tax rules will be comprehensively reviewed within six months to make them concise, clear and easy to understand. Apart from this, the Integrated Pension Scheme for Government Employees was implemented. Employees with 25 years of service will get 50% of their average basic salary as pension. The third version of One Rank, One Pension scheme will be implemented for security forces and their families. 3 crore houses approved under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana


    Ease of doing business- The government has also taken several important steps towards providing financial relief to start-ups and promoting innovation. The 31% angel tax, which has been a burden on startups since 2012, has been abolished. Corporate tax for foreign companies has been reduced from 40% to 35% to make India more competitive globally and attractive for investment. Mudra loan limit has been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.

    Empowered youth- A PM package of Rs 2 lakh crore has been announced to promote employment and skill development among youth. It aims to benefit 41 million youth in the next 5 years. 1 crore youth will get internships in top companies, along with allowances and one-time assistance. Apart from this, the central government has announced more than 15,000 new appointments. Under EPFO, first-time employees will be provided incentives up to Rs 15,000 in three installments. Khelo India Rising Talent Identification (KIRTI) scheme has been launched.

    Women Empowerment- Under DAY-NRLM, more than 90 lakh self-help groups have been formed by organizing more than 10 crore women to promote financial inclusion, digital literacy, sustainable livelihoods and social development measures. Lakhpati Didi Yojana: PM Modi provided certificates to 11 lakh new Lakhpati Didis. More than 1 crore Lakhpati Didis earn more than ₹1 lakh per year. Bank loans of Rs 5,000 crore have been disbursed, benefiting 25.8 lakh members of 2,35,400 Self Help Groups. Mudra loan has been increased from ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh.

    Empowerment of OBCs, Dalits, Minorities and Tribes – PM’s Developed Tribal Villages Abhiyan: 63,000 tribal villages will be developed, improving the socio-economic conditions of 5 crore tribals. 3 lakh identity cards have been issued for persons with disabilities of Scheduled Tribes, including 1.17 lakh cards for persons aged 60 years and above. New schools and smart classrooms have been created and 40 new schools have been established and smart classrooms have been created in 110 schools for tribal students. Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024: With an aim to reduce conflicts and disputes, a digital platform will be developed for online registration and monitoring of waqf properties.

    Accessible Healthcare- Ayushman Bharat scheme has been expanded to provide free insurance up to Rs 5 lakh to all senior citizens aged 70 years and above, benefiting 4.5 crore families and 6 crore senior citizens. 75,000 new medical seats have been added, making the healthcare system more efficient and reducing dependence on foreign medical education. The National Medical Commission is preparing a National Medical Register to create a centralised repository of doctors in the country.

    Science and Technology- A ₹1000 crore venture capital fund scheme has been set up for space startups. On August 16, the EOS-08 satellite was successfully launched on SSLV-D3. A ₹50,000 crore National Research Fund and a ₹10,500 crore ‘Vigyan Dhara’ scheme have been set up. A semiconductor unit will be set up in Sanand, Gujarat. Its production capacity will be 6 million chips per day with an investment of Rs 3,300 crore. Governance and Law and Order- On July 1, 2024, three new laws were introduced to replace colonial-era criminal laws including the Indian Justice Code, the Indian Civil Defence Code and the Indian Evidence Act. Apart from this, Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has been renamed as Sri Vijayapuram. The Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 has been introduced to deal with the problem of paper leaks.

    Energy Security- Hydropower projects in the Northeast have been approved and joint ventures will be formed between state units and central public sector enterprises with an investment of Rs 4,100 crore. Hydropower projects worth over Rs 12,400 crore have been approved under the VGF (Viability Gap Funding) scheme. Projects worth Rs 7,450 crore have been approved under offshore wind power projects.
