‘Pakistan is a factory of terror, Pak PM Shahbaz’s speech is just a joke’, India gave a befitting reply in UNGA

New Delhi. In the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the Indian representative gave a sharp statement while giving a strong response to the attack on India by Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He said, “This General Assembly witnessed an unfortunate spectacle this morning, where a country, which is run by its army and which has a global name in terrorism, drug trade and international crimes, has dared to attack the world’s largest democracy. I am referring to the attack on India by the Prime Minister of Pakistan in his speech.” What did the Indian representative say? Accusing Pakistan of cross-border terrorism, the Indian representative said that Pakistan has long used terrorism as a weapon against its neighbors. He said, “Pakistan has attacked our Parliament, our economic capital Mumbai, markets and pilgrimages. For a country that has repeatedly resorted to violence, accusing others of violence is the height of hypocrisy.” India’s response: Cross-border terrorism has grave consequences

India directly opposed any plan of ‘strategic restraint’ by Pakistan. The Indian representative made it clear, “There can be no compromise with terrorism. Pakistan should understand that cross-border terrorism against India will have grave consequences.”

India also condemned Pakistan’s brutal policies towards minorities and the 1971 genocide. The Indian representative said, “It is ridiculous that a country, which committed genocide in 1971 and which still oppresses its minorities, is talking about intolerance and phobia.”

PAK had given refuge to Laden: India said

India also accused Pakistan of giving refuge to Osama bin Laden and promoting terrorism at the global level. The Indian representative said, “The world knows that Pakistan has sheltered Osama bin Laden for a long time and Pakistan has repeatedly played a role in terrorist attacks. Pakistan’s policies have attracted the worst elements of society.”

India’s stand at the UN was clear and firm, and India completely rejected the allegations made by the Pakistani Prime Minister. The Indian representative concluded, “Our stand is clear and does not need to be repeated again and again. Pakistan cannot hide the truth with lies.”

India reiterated its tough policy against terrorism, sending a strong message to Pakistan and also said that it is ready to go to any extent to protect its sovereign rights.
