Pakistan closed its airspace, Shahbaz said – stopping water is like war

Apart from this, the visas of Pakistani citizens have also been closed at the Wagah-Attari border. Pakistan has panicked after seeing the action of the Indian government. PM Narendra Modi has given a strict warning regarding this attack. Since then, there has been a stir in Pakistan. Meanwhile, a high level meeting is being held in Pakistan.

    In fact, after PM Modi’s warning, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called an emergency meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC). All three army chiefs have attended this meeting. Pak Army Chief Asim Munir, Navy Chief Admiral and Pakistan’s Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar have attended this meeting.


    Many important decisions have been taken in this meeting. After the Indian government warned of action, Pakistan has closed its airspace for Indian planes. Also, the visas given to Indians have been cancelled and the Wagah border has also been closed. Let us tell you that India has also stopped the Indus Water Treaty. After this, the Pakistan government says that stopping water is an act of war.

    Many important decisions have been taken by the Pakistan government in this meeting, such as Pakistan will close the Wagah border post with immediate effect. Also, all cross-border transit from India through this route will also be suspended without any exception. Also, those who have crossed the border with a valid visa should immediately return to India through the same route before April 30. Pakistan has suspended all visas issued to Indian citizens under the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme. However, all visas have been cancelled except for Sikh religious pilgrims. Apart from this, Indian citizens currently present in Pakistan under SVES (except Sikh pilgrims) have been instructed to leave Pakistan within 48 hours.

    Pakistan has declared Indian Defence, Navy and Air Advisors in Islamabad as persona non grata. They have been directed to leave Pakistan before 30 April 2025. Along with this, the Pakistan government has also directed the people and advisors working in the Indian High Commission to return to India. Let us tell you that from 30 April 2025, the capacity of the Indian High Commission in Islamabad will be reduced to 30 diplomats and employees. Along with this, Pakistan has also threatened to cancel the Shimla Agreement.

    Let us tell you that 28 Indian tourists were killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. After this attack, PM Modi called a high-level meeting, after which PM Modi issued a warning regarding this attack. On Wednesday, the Ministry of External Affairs addressed the press, in which it was said that the Indian government has taken many big decisions after this attack, in which the Indus River Water Treaty has been stopped, visas given to Pakistani citizens through SAARC countries have been banned, as well as the Indian Embassy in Pakistan will also be closed.
