Tirupati. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that only Hindus should be employed in Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) i.e. the famous Tirupati temple. After offering prayers at the temple on Friday, Naidu said that if people of other communities are currently working there, they will be shifted to other places without disrespecting their sentiments. Naidu said, “Only Hindus should be employed in Tirumala temple. If people of other religions are currently working there, they will be shifted to other places without hurting their sentiments.”
Chief Minister Naidu also shared his grand plan with the people, under which there is a plan to build a temple of Venkateshwara Swamy in the capitals of all the states across the country. He said that a sacred thread has been tied to protect the properties of Lord Venkateshwara all over the world. He said that many devotees wish to establish such temples in foreign countries as well.
Mumtaz Hotel deal cancelled
Discussing any kind of commercial activities on the Tirumala hills around the temple, Naidu said that the previous government had approved the establishment of Mumtaz Hotel on 35.32 acres of land near the temple, which has been cancelled by his government. Naidu said that there should not be any kind of commercial activity near the seven hills of Tirumala. He also said that no private party will be allowed to run business in this area. He said that those who have got permission for business for food service will serve only vegetarian dishes.
CM had arrived with family
Chandrababu Naidu along with his son Nara Lokesh and family members had arrived to offer prayers at Lord Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirumala on Friday. Earlier, dressed in traditional attire, the Chief Minister entered the temple from the Vaikuntham queue complex to have darshan of Lord Venkateshwara. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu welcomed the Chief Minister at the entrance of the temple.
He bore the expenses of one day’s prasad distribution on grandson’s birthday
This visit took place on the occasion of the birthday celebration of the Chief Minister’s grandson Devansh. On this occasion, Chandrababu and his family also participated in the distribution of food prasadam at the Vengamamba Annadan Distribution Center. The Chief Minister, showing generosity, donated the expenses of one day’s prasad distribution on his grandson’s birthday to the TTD Annadan Trust. Tight security arrangements were made in view of the Chief Minister’s visit.
Expressing his faith in Lord Venkateshwara, Naidu said that it was due to the grace of God that he was able to survive many targeted attacks. He said, “I was targeted by 24 Claymore mines. It was impossible to survive such an attack, but I survived entirely due to the divine grace of Lord Venkateswara. The fact that I survived such a huge blast proves the immense power of God.”
