The police have identified the fourth accused. The police have arrested two accused named Gurmel Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap. Two accused named Shiva Kumar and Mohammad Jasheen Akhtar are absconding and Mumbai Police has formed 10 teams to catch them. Meanwhile, the Magistrate Court has sent Gurmel Singh to police custody till October 21. At the same time, Dharamraj Kashyap, who claimed to be a minor, will be given a bone ossification test to find out his real age. The court has approved this.

Mumbai Police DCP Datta Nalawade told in a press conference that 2 pistols and 28 cartridges have been recovered from the accused arrested in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. Police is investigating whether Lawrence Bishnoi gang is involved in this incident or not. DCP Datta Nalawade told that Baba Siddiqui did not have any categorized security. Only 3 policemen were deployed for his security. In this case, 15 teams of Mumbai Crime Branch are investigating in different states outside Mumbai.

According to the DCP, only Dharmaraj, Gurmel and Shiva were present at the time of firing on Baba Siddiqui, while Mohammad Jasheen Akhtar gave them logistical support.
