Ayodhya: In view of the shortage of workers in the construction of Ayodhya Ram Temple, a new deadline has been set to achieve the target of Ram Temple construction. First March 2025 and then June 30, 2025 and now October 2025 has been fixed. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai believes that the rampart will be constructed as the final installment by October 2025. After this, only landscaping work will remain in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex, for which there is no deadline.
In the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, Building-Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra presented a review report about the progress of the construction work. After this, the new deadline was finally approved. Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai said that the board seriously considered the subject of construction. After this, according to the talks with the construction agencies, the board has finally set the time till April 2025 to complete the construction of all three floors of Ram temple. Similarly, the construction work of Sapta Mandapam was fixed for March 2025 and the construction of Sheshavatar temple for August 2025. It was told that the target has been given to complete the construction of eight hundred meter rectangular rampart in October 2025.
The anniversary of Ramlala’s Pran-Pratishtha will be celebrated as Pratishtha Dwadashi:
- The Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary said that the festival of Ramlala’s Pran-Pratishtha will be celebrated as Pratishtha Dwadashi. He told that all the festivals are celebrated according to the Hindi date, so the saints are of the opinion that the festival of Ramlala’s Pran-Pratishtha will also be celebrated according to the Hindi date. In this regard, the festival of Pran Pratishtha will be celebrated on Paush Shukla Dwadashi, accordingly on January 11.
- Appointment of trained priests begins: The way has been cleared for the appointment of priests who have undergone six months of training under the Priest Training Scheme by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra. The Board of Trustees has approved the rules for this appointment. Priests who follow this rule conditionally will be appointed with immediate effect. The most important condition of this rule is that apart from worshiping Ramlila in Ram temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, worship will have to be done in all the 18 temples under construction within the complex on rotation basis.
- Construction of Trust office along with auditorium and guest house begins in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi premises: Construction of auditorium, guest house and trust office has started from Monday in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi premises on Marg Shirsh Krishna Dashami. The foundation stone of this construction was laid symbolically by the Tirtha Kshetra President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das in the meeting of the Board of Trustees. Along with this, the stone plaque was also unveiled. Giving this information, Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai said that 11 members attended the board meeting physically and Secretary of Government of India Prashant Lokhande attended virtually.
