NATO member Germany has prepared a plan to build new bunkers for the safety of its citizens. Under this plan, Germany is preparing to convert public and private buildings into bunkers. Under this, the basements, underground parking and metro stations of these buildings will be converted into safe shelters for citizens.

In fact, Russia has recently changed its nuclear policy and made it clear that if it is attacked by a NATO country’s missile, it will consider it an attack by the entire organization. Also, according to the new nuclear policy, if Russia is attacked with the support of a nuclear power, then Russia can consider a nuclear attack in such a situation.

On the other hand, America, Britain and France have already approved the use of their long-range missiles to Ukraine. The American media has also claimed that the Biden administration is also seriously considering transferring nuclear bombs to Ukraine. At the same time, Russia has made it clear that if Ukraine’s allies cross the red line, then it can consider the use of nuclear weapons. In such a situation, Europe can be the first to come under the grip of Putin’s anger. If the scope of the war increases, then it will not take long for the heat to reach Germany.

This is the reason why Germany has started trying to strengthen the security of its citizens amid the fear of the Third World War. The German Home Ministry has said that this plan has been made in view of the increasing security threats in the region. According to reports, along with these bunkers, the German government will also prepare a mobile app which will tell people the address of the nearest bunker in an emergency.

In recent times, concern has increased in Germany about the Russia-Ukraine war. At present, there are a total of 579 public bunkers in the country, where 4.8 lakh citizens can take shelter. Whereas the population of Germany is around 8.5 crores. In such a situation, the number of these bunkers is very less from the point of view of the safety of all the citizens. Germany is not the only NATO country to prepare for the possibility of a third world war, in the US too, people are being warned in view of the possibility of this danger. The US government has released a survival guide related to what citizens should do in the event of a nuclear attack.

This directory issued by the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) states that in the event of a nuclear attack, citizens will have a maximum of 15 minutes to reach a safe place. In such a situation, any person should take shelter especially in the basement or central room of a strong building and stay away from windows.
