Guna: The atmosphere has deteriorated due to stone pelting on Hanuman Jayanti procession in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. Due to the incident, angry people blocked the road. People demanded strict action against the stone pelters. Police said that the situation in the area is tense but under control. Heavy police force has been deployed on the spot. After the incident, the Collector and SP also reached the spot. A video of the incident is going viral on social media. In this, some policemen are seen handling the situation during stone pelting.
This is how the atmosphere deteriorated
According to the information received, Hanuman Jayanti procession was taken out from Shah’s Kolhu Pura on Saturday evening. This procession was coming towards Rapta, Haat Road. A large number of people involved in the procession reached in front of the mosque in Colonelganj at around 8 pm in the evening while singing and playing. At this place, a councilor had an argument with someone about taking the procession forward.
Stones thrown at the procession, then chaos
During this time, stones were thrown at the procession from somewhere. After this, the atmosphere deteriorated and stone pelting started from both sides. During this, there was chaos. The video of this incident is also going viral on social media. In this, some policemen are seen appealing to the people not to pelt stones.
Anger among the people
It is said that after the stone pelting, the police came into action and drove the people away from the spot. People became angry about this incident. The youth walking with the procession reached Hanuman Chowk and blocked the road there.

Collector Kishore Kumar Kanyal and SP Sanjeev Kumar Sinha themselves reached Hanuman Chowk. Officials also reached Colonelganj area to take stock of the situation. At present, the situation is said to be under control.
