Bhopal: Mohan government has taken a big decision to stop wasteful expenditure in Madhya Pradesh. Under which the Finance Department has currently imposed financial restrictions on more than 70 schemes of 33 departments of the state. That is, to spend money on these schemes, the concerned department will have to first get approval from the Finance Department, only if approval is received, money can be spent on the schemes. It is being told that this financial restriction from the government will remain in force till 2025. That is, this ban of the government will continue before the start of the new financial year. It is believed that this decision has been taken with the aim of stopping wasteful expenditure on schemes.
In fact, the Madhya Pradesh government has recently taken a loan to run many major schemes. Due to which the state treasury has currently incurred a debt of 4 lakh crores. In such a situation, the government has also decided to ban wasteful expenditure. It is being told that the government is preparing to take a new loan in the month of August as well. In such a situation, within a month, the government would have taken a loan of 10 thousand crores. Due to which some schemes are currently being cut. The government said that money for the schemes will be available only after the approval of the Finance Department. That is, if the Finance Department does not approve, then the money will not be approved.
Apart from this, many small and big schemes are also included, for the operation of these schemes, the concerned departments will have to send the file to the Finance Department first, after that if approval is received from the Finance Department, then the budget will be allocated for the schemes. If approval is not received from the Finance Department, then the operation of the scheme will be stopped.
Let us tell you that in the last few days, the burden of debt on the government has increased. Because loans have to be taken to operate many schemes. In such a situation, this decision is also considered important. It is believed that there will be a ban on them till 2025. That is, the Mohan government will now remove the ban from this decision in the new financial year itself. At present, the government has also said to focus on the schemes that have been mentioned in the budget.
