MP ED Raid: Saurabh Sharma found with assets worth Rs 23 crore, FD of Rs 6 crore and bank balance of Rs 4 crore

Bhopal. ED has made a shocking disclosure in the case of former constable of Madhya Pradesh Transport Department Saurabh Sharma and other cases. During the raid, ED has found many important documents from the hideouts of Saurabh and others. Also, ED has found FD of more than Rs 6 crore in the name of his (Saurabh) associate Chetan Singh Gaur.

In fact, 54 kg gold, Rs 11 crore cash was recovered from the car of Saurabh Sharma and Chetan in the past days. After this, ED raided the hideouts of Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur in this case of Saurabh and others. In the raid, the agency has found documents related to movable and immovable properties worth crores of rupees, which have been seized by ED.

ED said that FDs worth more than Rs 6 crore have been found in the name of Saurabh Sharma’s associate Chetan Singh Gaur. Bank balances worth more than Rs 4 crore were also found in the names of Saurabh Sharma’s family members and companies. Documents related to immovable property worth more than Rs 23 crore were found in the raid and have been seized. ED has given information about its action on social media.

Many revelations will be made from the diary
Recently, sources had told that the diaries found from Saurabh’s hideouts have a record of transactions worth about Rs 97 crore till December 2024, which is being investigated. At present, all the documents and diaries are still sealed, but a three-member team has been formed by DG Lokayukta under the leadership of DSP Virendra Singh, which will investigate this case.

Petition filed in Bhopal District Court
At the same time, a petition for anticipatory bail was filed in Bhopal District Court on behalf of absconding accused Saurabh after the Lokayukta raid. Saurabh’s advocate said in the court that I do not know where Saurabh is. I have come to Bhopal from Gwalior on the request of the petitioner’s mother. We are afraid that Saurabh might be killed in an encounter.

Let us tell you that on December 19, Lokayukta raided the house and office of former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma, after which ED also took action and raided the houses of Saurabh Sharma and his relatives in Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur on December 27.
