MP: Communal tension in Shajapur due to police not taking timely action, people took to the streets at midnight

Shajapur. A case of disturbing communal harmony has once again come to light in Shajapur city of Madhya Pradesh. Here in Bhoiwada area located in the Nai Sadak area of ​​the city, some Muslim women were harassing a family of Bhoi community for a long time. Four days ago, bricks and stones were also thrown at the house of a Hindu family living here. After which the complainant family reached the police station with Hindu organizations and lodged a complaint. But the police administration did not take any action.

Late Thursday evening, this dispute came to the fore once again and a dispute started between the Hindu family and Muslim women. On getting the information, people of the Hindu organization reached the spot Bhoiwada and blocked the road of the main market of Nai Sadak and sat on a dharna shouting slogans of Murdabad Police Administration.

After this, the police reached the spot and took the Muslim women in their vehicle to the Kotwali police station. By then, Hindu organizations had closed all the shops from Azad Chowk to the bus stand. They have warned the administration that if the Hindu family does not get justice and action is not taken against the Muslim women, then they will shut down the entire city on Friday. They also demanded that the houses of the accused women be demolished.

Regarding this dispute, Vishwa Hindu Parishad district convenor Ajay Jadham said that the only Hindu family living in that area is harassed by these Muslim women every day. He said that there is also a temple of Sheetla Mata there, which has also been vandalized. Making many such allegations, he demanded action.

After this dispute in the city, the Hindu organizations were registering their protest and shutting down the city, during which a Muslim youth started making a video of them and did not stop even after being stopped. After which the people of Hindu organizations beat him up. Expressing anger, the people of Hindu organizations reached the old AB road and insisted on the demand to take action against the accused. After this, the police took immediate action and arrested all the accused.

Additional Superintendent of Police TS Baghel said that there was a dispute near Bhuteshwar Point, over which the organizations had protested by creating a ruckus. They were counselled after talking to them, currently a heavy police force is deployed in the entire area. Although the situation is tense, it is under control and peace prevails in the city.
