Maihar. 6 people died in a fierce collision between a bus and a dumper in Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh. While 20 people have been injured in the accident. Police said that the bus was going from Prayagraj to Nagpur, when it collided with a stone-laden dumper near Nadan Dehat police station, about 25 km from the district headquarters, at around 11 pm on Saturday night.
Maihar Superintendent of Police Sudhir Agarwal said that the condition of 6 people among the injured is said to be critical and they have been referred to Satna. He said that the rest of the people are being treated in hospitals in Maihar and Amarpatan.
SP Sudhir Agarwal said that as soon as the information about the accident was received, senior officers reached the spot and started the rescue operation. A painful road accident took place in Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh. A high-speed bus has collided with a dumper. 6 people have died on the spot in the accident. The bodies of the dead trapped inside the bus were taken out by rescue operation. Officially, the bodies of 6 people have been taken out of the bus so far.
According to the information, the accident took place in Nadan Dehat police station area of Maihar district. Where, the bus has collided with a dumper standing on the side of the road. It is being told that the speed of the bus was high, due to which the driver could not control it. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the Superintendent of Police of Maihar district along with the top police officials reached the spot with the force. The police immediately took the injured passengers to Maihar Civil Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
It is being told that the bus was going from Prayagraj to Nagpur. At the same time, a Hiva (dumper) loaded with stones was standing on the side of the road, with which it collided. After the accident, the bodies of the dead trapped inside the bus were taken out through JCB cutter. The death toll may increase. Superintendent of Police Sudhir Agarwal said that the bus collided with the Hiva. 6 people have died in the incident, while more than 24 passengers have been injured. Of which 3 are seriously injured.
