Mohan government’s big decision regarding Narmada Parikrama, devotees will get these facilities

Bhopal: Preparations are being made to construct Narmada Parikrama Path in Madhya Pradesh, that is, a systematic route will now be built for Narmada Parikrama in the state, through which devotees will circumambulate Mother Narmada. The total length of Narmada river is about 1314 kilometers, but when Narmada Parikrama is done, this distance becomes 3500 kilometers, in which 2000 kilometers of it comes in Madhya Pradesh, while the rest comes in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Now ashrams and social buildings will be constructed on the way of Narmada Parikrama. Which will start from Omkareshwar and Maheshwar, because most of the devotees doing Narmada Parikrama on foot start from here. Apart from this, the government has also made a plan to build ready-to-stay shelters for the people doing the Parikrama on foot, in which there will be special arrangements for those doing Chaturmas. This will also include the committees that do the Narmada Parikrama.

The work of marking the Narmada Parikrama path will be done through a software, this software has been developed by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, in which Geography Information System has also been added. Through this software, the location of religious places, ashrams, social buildings and toilets coming in the path of Narmada Parikrama is being tracked, after this further work will be done according to this and new construction will be done.
