‘Modi-Shah’s picture is a guarantee of defeat…’, Uddhav’s counter attack on the slogan ‘If we divide, we will be cut’

November 09, 2024

New Delhi: UP CM Yogi’s slogan ‘If we divide, we will be cut’ is gaining momentum in Maharashtra. After the Lok Sabha elections, now in the assembly elections too, Congress has promised to take the reservation beyond 50 percent if it gets the power and to conduct caste census. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are continuously making political attacks on this politics of garnering votes on the basis of caste, where today the PM has given the slogan ‘If we live together, we will be safe’, on the other hand Yogi Adityanath is continuously giving the slogan ‘If we divide, we will be cut’ and ‘If we live together, we will be good’. But now this slogan is getting a strong reaction from the opposition parties.

What did Ajit Pawar say?
Let us tell you that NDA ally Ajit Pawar had earlier raised questions on Yogi Adityanath’s slogan ‘If we divide, we will be cut’ in Maharashtra. Ajit Pawar had said that Maharashtra is the land of Shivaji, Ambedkar, Shahuji Maharaj. Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said that people from outside come to Maharashtra and express such views, BJP CMs of other states should decide what to say. Ajit Pawar said that we are working together in Mahayuti, but our parties have different ideologies. We all run the government on a common minimum program.

This is being done for the development of the country. We still stand by the ideas of Shiva Shahu Phule. It may be that all this works in other states, but it does not work in Maharashtra. BJP Chief Ministers of other states should decide what to say. Uddhav Thackeray targeted
Now, Uddhav Thackeray (UBT chief) targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah said that wherever you go in Maharashtra today, you will see Balasaheb Thackeray’s picture on the posters of almost all political parties, but you will probably not see Narendra Modi or Amit Shah’s picture on BJP’s posters, because their picture is a guarantee of defeat. He said that Modi and Shah are a guarantee of defeat.

Congress retaliated
Commenting on BJP’s “Bantenge to katnenge” slogan, senior Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat said that Congress never instigates fights between religions and castes. It is BJP’s job to instigate fights between religions and do false propaganda. BJP sometimes talks about vote jihad, and sometimes gives slogans like “Bantenge to katnenge”.

Sanjay Raut attacked
UBT MP Sanjay Raut also attacked Prime Minister Modi on the slogan “Bantenge to katnenge”. He said that he does not understand why Modi is speaking such language. When the slogan “Bantenge toh kateng” did not work, now they have come up with the slogan “Ek hain toh safe hain”. Raut said that people are safe in Maharashtra, but whenever Modi comes, an atmosphere of insecurity is created here, because he divides people and tries to incite riots. He said that it is necessary to remove BJP to make Maharashtra more safe.

NCP also targeted
NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Rohit Pawar reacted to BJP’s “Bantenge toh kateng” slogan and said that BJP has no other issue. He said that such things will not work in Maharashtra, because the people here do not support these slogans. Maharashtra is a holy land, and people here believe in spirituality. Rohit Pawar said that this strategy of BJP will fail and he alleged that BJP wants to polarize Maharashtra because it is desperate.
