Modi cabinet approves MP’s big rail project

Indore: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given good news to the people of Madhya Pradesh by posting on social media platform x. Actually, Modi cabinet has approved three rail projects, which also includes a new rail line to be laid between Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. PM Modi himself has given this information. A new rail line is to be laid between Indore in Madhya Pradesh and Manmad in Maharashtra, for which Modi cabinet has approved.

A 309 km long rail line is to be laid between Indore and Manmad. Which will be laid between Khandwa Bhusaval via Indore. After getting approval of these projects from the Union Cabinet, PM Modi posted on x and wrote, ‘Better infrastructure means connecting dreams and accelerating progress, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh will benefit from the cabinet’s approval of three major rail projects.’

Actually, the central government has given special status to the Indore-Manmad railway line project connecting Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Therefore, this project is being completed on priority. Preparations for its construction have also started from the railway side. In the Indore-Manmad railway line, land of 77 villages of three districts of Madhya Pradesh, Dhar, Khargone and Barwani will be acquired. In such a situation, preparations for land acquisition have also started.

The total length of Indore-Manmad railway line is 309.432 km. 34 railway stations will be built on this railway line, out of which 18 stations will be in Madhya Pradesh, the rest of the stations will be built in Maharashtra. While 7 tunnels will also be built in the middle of the railway line. At the same time, the distance between Indore and Mumbai city will also be reduced by the construction of Indore-Manmad railway line. The distance from Indore to Mumbai is currently 830 km, but with the laying of this railway line, the distance between the two cities will be reduced to 568 km. After the laying of this railway line, 16 pairs of passenger trains will be operated here. The special thing is that due to the railway line, the industrial sector between Indore and Manmad will get a boost. The laying of this railway line will not only benefit business but will also benefit tourism and religious sector.
