Bhopal: This year the Mohan Yadav cabinet will celebrate Dussehra festival with Shastra Puja. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav himself will worship weapons on Dussehra in Maheshwar. The decision was taken during the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. The Chief Minister said that Dussehra festival will be celebrated with Shastra Puja. All the ministers in charge will worship weapons in the police armory of the districts.
He said that the upcoming cabinet meeting will be held on October 5 at Sangrampur in Damoh. The cabinet meeting in Sangrampur is the government’s decision to honor Rani Durgavati. The Chief Minister was handed over a certificate by London’s T-4 Education Institute to Ratlam’s Vinoba CM Rise School for being among the top three finalists in the innovation category of the World’s Best School Award 2024.
Before the cabinet meeting, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Chaitanya Kashyap handed over the certificate to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that the process of nomination for soybean procurement is starting in the state. All ministers and public representatives should ensure enrollment of maximum number of farmers. He talked about procuring soybean at the support price.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the next Regional Industry Conclave will be held in Sagar on September 27. Regional Industry Conclaves will also be organized in Rewa, Narmadapuram and Shahdol by December 2024. He said that the road show in Kolkata, discussions with industrialists and investors have had encouraging results. During the road show and discussion session, more than 700 industrialists and investors participated and showed their desire to invest in Madhya Pradesh.
The Chief Minister said that an investment of about Rs 20 thousand crore is possible in the state, which will provide employment to more than 10 thousand people. 16 major industrial groups of the country are interested in setting up units in the state. Assurance has been received from the Birla Group to set up a cement unit in Badnagar. Efforts are also being made to encourage traditional industries in the state. The Chief Minister said that the state has registered 14-fold growth in the field of renewable energy.
There is a possibility of 14-fold increase in the next two years. He said that the implementation of the work plan set in the state is being ensured. Under the Gramonnayan Abhiyan, works like Ayushman, LPG, mobile medical unit, skill development, home stay, rural electrification, telecom activity are being implemented in 259 development blocks of 51 tribal districts.
