Major landslide in Himachal, tree fell on 4 cars, 6 people died, rescue operation continues

Kullu: A major landslide has occurred in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. This accident happened near the Gurudwara in Manikaran at around 5 pm on Sunday evening. In this, six people died on the spot, while a dozen people are reported to be injured.

It is being told that all the people who died were injured due to the falling of a tree near the Gurudwara. It is being told that at the time of the accident, all these people were sitting under the tree on the side of the road. Suddenly a landslide occurred and the debris sliding from the hill hit the tree and with a jerk the tree got uprooted and fell on the road. People sitting there came under its grip.

Some people are feared to be still buried under the debris. The administration and police are engaged in rescue. According to the information, a large pine tree also fell on the road along with the landslide from the hill. Three to four vehicles parked on the roadside also came under its grip. Some people got stuck inside the vehicles.
