Maharashtra: Girl gave contract to kill her would-be husband after marriage was fixed in Pune, 5 arrested

Pune. A shocking case has come to light from Pune district of Maharashtra, where after the marriage was fixed, the girl gave contract to kill her would-be husband. Police investigation revealed that Mayuri Sunil Dangde did not like Sagar Jaisingh Kadam, so he conspired to kill him by giving a contract of Rs 1.50 lakh. Yavat police has arrested 5 people in this case, but the bride is still absconding.

Sagar Jaisingh Kadam is a resident of Mahi Jalgaon of Karjat taluka and works as a cook in a hotel. On the evening of 27 February at around 7:30 pm, when he was near a hotel near Khamgaon Phata of Daund taluka, some people surrounded him and beat him badly with sticks. After this attack, Sagar lodged a case in Yavat police station.

During the investigation, the police got clues that Mayuri Sunil Dangde and Sandeep Dada Gawade were behind the attack. Police arrested the accused Aditya Shankar Dangde, Sandeep Dada Gawade, Shivaji Ramdas Jare, Suraj Digambar Jadhav and Indrabhan Sakharam Kolpe. All the accused are residents of Ahilyanagar district.

The police have also seized the Verna car used by the accused in this case. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 109, 61 (2) and 126 (2) of the IPC. Assistant Police Inspector Mahesh Mane is further investigating the case.
