Lucknow, Sambhal, Aligarh… Flag marches in every city, drone surveillance… Alert in UP on Friday prayers

    Lucknow: On the occasion of Alvida Namaaz in Uttar Pradesh, the police of the entire state is on alert and the police administration is ready to prevent prayers from being offered on the road in all the districts. Special security arrangements have been made for Alvida Namaaz in Lucknow. Alvida Namaaz will be offered today in 94 Idgahs and 1210 mosques. Old Lucknow has been divided into five zones and 18 sectors. 64 hotspots have been identified where special security arrangements have been made. CCTV cameras have been installed on major routes. For security, 12 gazetted officers and 9 companies of PAC have been deployed in Lucknow.

    More than 1000 hotspots have been identified in 42 districts of the state including Meerut, Saharanpur, Sambhal, Moradabad, Badaun, Ghaziabad, Noida, Hapur, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Aligarh, Hathras, Agra, Kasganj, Firozabad, Lucknow, Sitapur, Barabanki and Gorakhpur.
    Drones will be used for surveillance during Namaaz. Those who post objectionable posts on social media will also be monitored. 4 teams of cyber crime have also been deployed. Namaaz of Shia community will be read in Asifi Masjid Bada Imambara between 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. At the same time, Namaaz of Sunni community will be read in Teele Wali Masjid between 1 to 2 pm. Namaaz will be held at Aishbagh Idgah at 12:45 pm.

    Police flag march in Sambhal
    Police is on alert before Alvida Juma Namaaz in Sambhal district of the state. Where on Thursday night, the police officer along with the force has done a flag march in many areas including Jama Masjid and violence-hit areas and tightened the security arrangements.

    In fact, on Friday, a large number of Namazis will reach Jama Masjid of Sambhal and other mosques of the city to offer Alvida Juma Namaaz, but Sambhal police has been on high alert since Thursday night regarding Alvida Juma. Where on Thursday night, Additional SP Shrishchandra and CO Anuj Chaudhary, along with a heavy police force, conducted a flag march in the main market of the city including the area around Jama Masjid.


    Police officers also reached many sensitive areas while conducting a flag march with Rapid Reaction Force and PAC jawans. During this, police officers also checked the police duties regarding Eid and Alvida Juma Namaaz. At the same time, the Additional SP instructed the policemen deployed on duty to remain alert. In Sambhal city, which is going through a sensitive situation, police officers themselves were seen on the streets on Thursday night to ensure that the law and order situation does not deteriorate during Alvida Juma or Eid Namaaz. ASP Shrishchandra said while talking to Aaj Tak, “Adequate police force has been deployed and the police will be fully alert during the Alvida Juma Namaaz. Sector and zone system has been implemented. Civil police, RRF and RAF personnel will be deployed during this time and along with this, monitoring will also be done through drones and CCTV cameras and no disturbance will be allowed under any circumstances.

    Preparations for Eid Namaaz in Aligarh
    Vigilance continues regarding Alvida Namaaz. City Mufti has released the timing of Namaaz to be held in different mosques for Eid ul Fitr Namaaz. Namaaz will be offered at two different times in Eidgah. City Mufti has appealed to the Muslims of the city not to offer namaz on the streets.

    In Aligarh, Shahar Mufti Khalid Hameed has appealed to the citizens to offer namaz of Eid ul Fitr with love and affection like every year. Khalid Hameed said that first of all Eid namaz will be offered at 6:45 in Jama Masjid. After that Eid namaz will be offered at 7:00 in Nai Idgah. The second namaz will be offered at 7:45 in Idgah.

    He said that those who come to offer namaz are appealed not to indulge in any kind of mischief. Namaz should be offered peacefully.
