Lock put on the wheel of SDM’s official vehicle parked in No Parking, 6 employees locked in police station

Guna: There was a ruckus after wheel lock was put on SDM’s official vehicle parked in No Parking zone in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. SDM locked 6 employees of the company which took action against vehicles in No Parking zone by challaning them in police station. Later, SDM himself got the employees bailed out when the company accepted the mistake.

A private company has been given contract by Nagar Palika to maintain the traffic system in No Parking zone. A policeman of the traffic department is also deployed in the towing vehicle of the company. Any vehicle which is parked in No Parking area without authorization is challaned.

SDM Shivani Pandey’s official vehicle was parked in No Parking zone, in which company employees put WHEEL LOCK. SDM’s vehicle also had a name plate in front of it which was ignored and action was taken.

As soon as the picture of lock put on SDM’s vehicle went viral, there was a ruckus. Traffic policeman went and got the wheel lock removed from the vehicle. As per the rules, challan action is taken after the lockdown, but the SDM’s vehicle was left without challan.

SDM Shivani Pandey called the employees to the circuit house and reprimanded them. 6 employees of the company were also locked up in the police station. But after some time, SDM Shivani Pandey herself got the employees released on bail.
