Kalicharan Maharaj again spewed venom against Mahatma Gandhi, called Nathuram Godse a Mahatma

Bhopal. Hindu religious leader Kalicharan Maharaj, who is often in controversies due to his statements, has once again spewed venom against the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Refusing to accept Gandhiji as the Father of the Nation, he has called Nathuram Godse, who killed him, a Mahatma. Defending Godse, he said that if the purpose is good then killing is not a bad thing. He said that all the policies of Gandhiji were anti-Hindu, so he was an evil soul. Kalicharan said this on Tuesday in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, where he had come to participate in a religious program.

In response to a question asked about Gandhiji, he said, ‘Raghupati Raghav Rajaram and Nathuram saved the country. Godse is a Mahatma.’ Refusing to accept Gandhiji as a Mahatma, he said – ‘He may be a Mahatma according to you. But he is an evil soul. Because all his policies were anti-Hindu. When he was asked whether he was the father of the nation, Kalicharan replied, “You may love, you may consider him a Mahatma, you may consider him a father, but you cannot be the father of the nation. Bharat Mata has existed for crores of years, how can anyone be the father of Bharat Mata.”

When he was asked that the world knows Nathuram Godse as Gandhiji’s murderer, he replied, “If the purpose is good, then killing is not a bad thing. If the purpose is to protect the nation, to protect religion, then killing is not a bad thing. The military also kills the enemies, so is the military bad? The police also kills the wicked in encounters, so is the police bad?”

“I have no fear of going to jail”
Refusing to accept Gandhiji as the father of the nation, he said, “Father of the nation is not a constitutional post. Whoever wants to consider Gandhi as their father, they should consider him as their father.” On going to jail for similar insulting statements, he said, “I have no fear of going to jail. It is the duty of a sanyasi to speak the truth.” Neither are we afraid of going to jail, nor are we afraid of a police case, nor are we afraid of being stabbed. A bullet can hit our head at any time, but we have no fear.’ Let us tell you that three years ago, in the Dharm Sansad held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Kalicharan had also made an insulting statement for Gandhiji, after which a case was filed against him and he had to stay in jail for many months.

Opposed ‘Priest of Lust’ in films
When asked about the priest of lust in films, he said, ‘Bhaiya, why only the priest of lust, why not the Maulana of lust, why not the priest of lust, because there is a conspiracy to defame Hindus. Why only the Devta of Gunahon, why not the Khuda of Gunahon or the God of Gunahon. If I had the power, I would have destroyed those who do this.’ Kalicharan Maharaj said all these things on Tuesday in Bhopal, where he had come to attend the program of Bhakta Mandal organized on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Neem Karoli Maharaj.

Advocated for abolishing the Waqf Board
On being asked about the Waqf Board, he said, ‘The Waqf Board should be abolished, this is the welfare of Hindus. Because all the Hindus who went to Pakistan from India were killed, but all the land and other lands of the Muslims who went to Pakistan from here were given to the Waqf Board. Whatever land the Waqf Board lays its hands on, a petition cannot be filed against it even in the Supreme Court, such laws have been made by the governments before 2014. All those anti-Hindu and anti-national laws should be abolished.’
