With the announcement of the election, there is a stampede in the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). In the last 24 hours, 4 MLAs have resigned from the party from JJP. This includes the names of Ishwar Singh, Devendra Babli, Anoop Dhanak and Ram Karan Kala. Let us tell you that JJP MLA from Tohana in Haryana and former minister Devendra Babli has resigned from all the posts of the party today, he has submitted his resignation through a letter to party president Ajay Chautala.

Earlier, another MLA of the party and former minister Anoop Dhanak and Ramkaran Kala have also left the party. Apart from this, Jannayak Janata Party MLA Ishwar Singh has also resigned from the primary membership and all responsibilities of the party. Ishwar Singh won from Kaithal’s Guhla assembly seat in 2019 on a JJP ticket. MLA Ishwar Singh has submitted his resignation to JJP national president Ajay Chautala.

JJP office secretary Randhir Singh said that when our new party was formed, the leaders joined the party and became MLAs. Now after the announcement of elections, they are leaving the party. Randhir Singh said that we have given legal notices to everyone under anti-party activity. Whose replies have also come, Ramkaran Kala sent a reply twice and went to meet him himself.

He said that Ramkaran Kala told us that he has not joined any party. He is not involved in the activities of any other party. Randhir Singh said that we have given legal notice to 2 MLAs, including Ramniwas Suraj Kheda and Jogiram Sihag, who were present on the BJP stage during the Lok Sabha elections and were also asking for votes for the BJP, while they were MLAs from our party.

Let us tell you that the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power in the state. In the assembly elections held in 2019, BJP emerged as the largest party by winning 40 seats with 36.7 percent vote share. Then Congress got 28.2 percent votes and the party stood second with 31 seats. Dushyant Chautala’s newly-formed Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) was successful in winning 10 seats with 14.9 percent vote share. Apart from this, Haryana Lokhit Party won one seat with less than one percent vote share. 7 independents were also successful in reaching the assembly by winning the elections. However, no party could reach the magic figure of 46 members required for majority.

After the results, BJP formed the government with the support of JJP, Haryana Lokhit Party and independents. But before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP broke the alliance with JJP and made Nayab Singh Saini the CM in place of Manohar Lal Khattar. In the assembly elections held in 2014, BJP won for the first time, BJP won 47 seats and formed the government with absolute majority. Then INLD won 19 seats and came second and Congress came third with 15 seats.
