Along with this, all the property of this group has been confiscated. This is the most vocal opposition group in Jordan. The Interior Minister there, Mazen Frya, said that members of the Muslim Brotherhood group have been found involved in a conspiracy of sabotage. After this, action has been taken against this group. After the action of the government, a large number of police forces were seen around the office of the Muslim Brotherhood, who were searching there.

At present, no comment has been received from the group. The Muslim Brotherhood has been operating legally in Jordan for decades and has centers and dozens of offices in major cities across the country, which have widespread support at the grassroots level. Jordan said last week that it had arrested 16 members of the Muslim Brotherhood who were trained and funded in Lebanon. According to government officials, these people were plotting attacks with rockets and drones inside the country. Jordan also attributed the failed plot in 2024 to the Muslim Brotherhood cell in Jordan.

What is included in the ban?
Fraya said that all activities of the group have been banned and anyone promoting its ideology has been declared accountable under the law. He said that the ban imposed by the government includes publishing anything by this group and sealing and confiscating all its offices and property. Officials said that several security personnel working on the orders of the public prosecutor raided the offices of the Muslim Brotherhood and searched for documents. He said that some documents had already been removed or destroyed to hide evidence.
