Jammu. A conspiracy is being hatched to launch a major terrorist attack on New Year from across the border. Intelligence agencies have alerted security agencies about this. Three terrorists of Jaish were killed on Akhnoor LoC a few months ago. These terrorists were also sent with the intention of carrying out a major attack, but could not succeed. Sources also say that for a long time terrorists have not been able to commit any crime in Jammu and Samba districts, so pressure is being built to attack both the districts.

According to sources, terrorists can use tunnels for infiltration, because at present there are no crops on the border. There are dense bushes at many places. In the past too, terrorists have tried to infiltrate by digging tunnels many times.
