New Delhi: BJP has released its first list of 15 candidates for Jammu Kashmir Assembly Election. This list has been released only for the first phase. In this list, BJP has given tickets to 8 Muslim candidates. Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party had released the first list of 44 candidates, which it had withdrawn. There were 14 Muslim candidates in this list. Voting is in three phases in Jammu and Kashmir. Voting is to be held on 24 seats in the first phase, 26 seats in the second phase and 40 seats in the third phase.
Voting for 90 assembly seats of Jammu Kashmir will be held in three phases on 18 and 25 September and 1 October. Results will be declared on 4 October. Assembly elections are going to be held in Jammu Kashmir after 10 years. The last assembly elections were held here in the year 2014.
Voting on these 24 seats in the first phase
The seats where voting will take place in the first phase include Pampore, Tral, Pulwama, Rajpora, Zainapora, Shopian, D.H. Pora, Kulgam, Devsar, Dooru, Kokernag (ST), Anantnag West, Anantnag, Shrigufwara, Bijbehara, Shangas-Anantnag East, Pahalgam, Inderwal, Kishtwar, Pad Der, Nagseni, Bhaderwah, Doda, Doda West, Ramban and Banihal.
