Indore-Ujjain Metro will start before Simhastha, CM Mohan Yadav announced

Indore: The metro running between Indore and Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh will start before Simhastha 2028. This has been announced by CM Mohan Yadav himself during his Indore tour. Apart from this, he said that special focus is also being given on Vande Bharat between Indore and Ujjain. Vande Bharat Express will run at a speed of 160 km per hour between the two cities, so that passengers can be transported as soon as possible. CM Mohan Yadav has kept the charge of Indore district with himself, so today he held a meeting of the metro project in Indore with senior officials of the district and also reviewed the works of the metro.

Let us tell you that Simhastha fair will be organized in Ujjain in 2028. In view of this, the Chief Minister also talked in this meeting to strengthen the rail and road connectivity between Indore and Ujjain and has instructed the officials to work fast. He said that in view of Simhastha, a dedicated metro corridor is also being built between Indore and Ujjain and Vande Metro train will also be seen running on the existing track, let us tell you that through this meeting the Chief Minister made it clear that as the Minister in charge and the head of the state, he will keep a close eye on the development of Indore and no laxity will be tolerated in the development work of Indore.

After the meeting, the CM said that he has held a meeting with officials and public representatives, in which he has seen the survey report of the cities to be connected with the metropolitan, as well as reviewed the works of urban and rural bodies. Elevated road in Indore will prove to be helpful in traffic control, the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh are double engine governments, they are working.

CM Mohan Yadav said that instructions have also been given to increase the pace of development work currently going on in Indore. Along with this, it has also been said to increase the limits of urban bodies further. In such a situation, the scope of Indore Municipal Corporation will also be increased and new villages will be added to the city. So that better facilities can be provided in the villages as well. For this, suggestions have also been sought from public representatives. CM Mohan Yadav himself is in charge of Indore district, so it is believed that Indore may get some big gifts in the coming days.
