Indore: The third quarter ranking report of service quality of ACI i.e. Airport Council International has been released. In this report, there has been a tremendous improvement in the ranking of Indore Airport. Indore Airport has come from 12th position to fourth position. This survey has been done at 15 airports across the country. On the basis of the survey, Chennai is at number one with 4.93 rating, Goa at number two, Kolkata at third and Indore at fourth.
Every three months, ACI releases airport service quality on the basis of facilities provided to the passengers. Earlier, Indore Airport was at number 12 in the first quarter and second quarter of this year. At the same time, Indore Airport was at 7th position in the last quarter of last year.
Indore Airport is now at number four after first, second, third position. Quarterly rating is released thrice a year. At the same time, annual rating is released once a year. In the rating of the year 2023, Indore Airport was at number one among 15 airports in the country. Indore was ranked third in January to March 2023, first in April to June quarter, and second in July to September.
Ease of access to airport, sign boards to reach terminal, taxi fare to reach airport, ease of finding check-in, waiting time, help and courtesy at check-in, ease of security screening, waiting time, waiting at border-passport control, restaurant-bar facility and price, shops and price, waiting time at gate, ease of finding directions, information-availability of lights, walking distance in terminal, ease of light connection, behaviour of all staff, Wi-Fi quality, quality of charging stations.
