    In Jammu Kashmir BJP will release the list of candidates again, 44 names were announced this morning

    Srinagar. BJP on Monday announced the names of 44 candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. But after a while, BJP informed that they have withdrawn the list. BJP informed that this list can be released with some more updates.

    Names of the 15 candidates have been announced for the first phase, 10 for the second phase and 19 for the third phase of voting. Elections are to be held in three phases in Jammu and Kashmir.


    Former Deputy CM did not get ticket

    The special thing about this list is that former Deputy CM and former Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Dr. Nirmal Singh has not got a ticket. Nirmal Singh won from Billawar assembly seat in 2014. At the same time, former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta has also not got a ticket. However, there is speculation that Kavinder Gupta’s name can be announced in the next list. The name of state BJP president Ravindra Raina has also not been announced in this list.

    Two Kashmiri Pandits also got tickets

    BJP has fielded Kashmiri Pandits from two seats in Kashmir Valley. Veer Saraf from Shangas-Anantnag East and Ashok Bhatt from Habbakadal have been nominated.

    BJP Central Election Committee meeting was held on Sunday

    Let us tell you that BJP’s Central Election Committee meeting was held in New Delhi on Sunday regarding the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. Many senior leaders including PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda attended this meeting. In this meeting, election strategy, issues, names of candidates and possible rallies of PM Modi in the state were discussed. After this meeting, speculations were being made that BJP will announce the names of the candidates by Monday morning.

    PM Modi’s two rallies in Kashmir

    According to sources, it was decided in this meeting that PM Modi will hold one to two rallies in Kashmir while PM Modi will hold 8 to 10 rallies in Jammu. The Election Commission has announced the dates for voting on 90 assembly seats in the state. Voting will be held in Jammu and Kashmir on 18 September, 25 September and 1 October. Assembly elections will be held in 3 phases in the Union Territory which is sensitive from the security point of view. The results of the assembly elections will come on 4 October. Voting is to be held on 24 seats in the first phase, 26 seats in the second phase and 40 seats in the third phase.

    Candidates of the first phase

    Engineer Syed Shaukat Gayur will contest from Pampore, Arshid Bhat from Rajpora, Javed Ahmed Qadri from Shopian, Mohammad Rafiq Wani from Anantnag West. Advocate Syed Wajahat will contest from Anantnag, Shagun Parihar from Kishtwar and Gajay Singh Rana from Doda. Sofi Yusuf from Srigufwara Bijbehara, Veer Saraf from Shangus Anantnag will be in the fray.

    Tariq Keen from Inderwal, Sunil Sharma from Pader Nagseni seat, Dilip Singh Parihar from Bhaderwah will be in the fray. Salim Bhatt from Banihal, Rakesh Thakur from Ramban and Shakti Raj Parihar from Doda West are included.

    Second phase candidates
    Ashok Bhatt from Habbakadal seat, Mohammad Akram Chaudhary from Gulabgarh (ST) assembly seat, Kuldeep Raj Dubey from Reasi seat, Rohit Dubey from Mata Vaishno Devi, Thakur Randhir Singh from Kalakot-Sunderbani, Chaudhary Zulfiqar Ali from Budhal (ST) seat, Mohammad Iqbal Malik from Thannamandi (ST) seat have got tickets. Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari will contest from Surankote (ST) seat, Chaudhary Abdul Ghani from Poonch Haveli seat, Murtaza Khan from Mendhar (ST) will be in the fray.

    Candidates for the third phase

    Pawan Gupta from Udhampur West seat, Balwant Singh Mankotia from Chinani assembly constituency, Sunil Bhardwaj from Ramnagar (SC) seat, Jeevan Lal from Bani will be in the fray. Satish Sharma from Billawar and Darshan Singh from Basohli seat will contest the elections. Rajiv Jasrota from Jasrota seat, Vijay Kumar Sharma from Hiranagar, Dr. Devinder Kumar Maniyal from Ramgarh (SC) seat, Surjit Singh Salathia from Samba have got tickets. Chandra Prakash Ganga from Vijaypur, Ghaaru Ram Bhagat from Suchetgarh (SC), Dr. Narinder Singh Raina from R.S. Pura-Jammu South and Yudhvir Sethi from Jammu East have been given tickets by the BJP.
