Chhatarpur. In Chhatarpur district, a taxi full of devotees going to Bageshwar Dham collided with a truck. Seven people have died in this horrific road accident out of which five people died on the spot and four are seriously injured. The injured have been sent to the district hospital with the help of 108 ambulance. The injured and the dead include children and old people. The death toll is expected to increase.
According to the information, the incident is said to have taken place near Kadari on NH 39 at 5 am in the morning. There was a strong collision between taxi number UP 95 AT 2421 going to Bageshwar Dham with passengers from Chhatarpur railway station and truck PB 13 BB 6479. The auto was loaded 4 times more than the passing capacity and it is being told that the taxi driver hit the truck from behind. At the same time, it is also being suspected that due to the sudden braking of the truck, the taxi running behind the truck collided from behind and this terrible accident happened.
On getting information about the accident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case and taking further action. According to the police, the auto was going to Bageshwar Dham from Chhatarpur railway station with 12 devotees. It is believed that the driver dozed off and the auto collided with the truck. The deceased include a one and a half year old girl. According to the information that has come to light, Janardan, Manu Srivastava, Nanhe, Govind, Lalu, Anshika (age one and a half years) along with auto driver Prem Narayan Kushwaha have died in the accident. All these devotees are residents of Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh.
