Bhopal: Hamidia Hospital Bhopal has been recognized by NABH with a full-time 5-year accreditation certificate, which is valid from 2024 to 2028. This accreditation has been received by the largest government medical college of India, which is a big achievement in itself. This accreditation reflects the high services of Hamidia Hospital and the good work done for the interests of the patients.
Hamidia Hospital Bhopal, the first government medical college of the whole of India with the maximum number of 1820 beds, has succeeded in getting NABH full-time accreditation of 5 years. This accreditation by NABH holds special importance because no government medical college in India and central health institutions like AIIMS, PGI have NABH full-time accreditation (5 years) on such number of beds.
This is a matter of pride for the state along with Gandhi Medical College and Hamidia Hospital. The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers established the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers in 2005, which is a constituent board of the Quality Council of India. Under which the standards of health services are evaluated, on the instructions of the Central Government, a survey is conducted to issue rankings based on the facilities of government hospitals.
On August 1 and 2, the hospital was inspected by a special team of NABH at Hamidia Hospital Bhopal and tested on various parameters. In which Hamidia Hospital has been recognized by the National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare Providers with a good score for good work and high services for the interests of patients and employees and with a certificate of accreditation from 2024 to 2028.
