Unfortunately, one pilot died in the accident, while the other is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jamnagar. The IAF deeply regrets the loss of life and stands firmly with the bereaved family. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.

A video of the incident has also surfaced in which the Jaguar fighter plane is seen burning after crashing. Also, pieces of the aircraft are scattered around. The pilot is lying injured on the ground and the villagers are trying to save him. A crowd of people has gathered around. Jamnagar SP Prem Sukh Delu said that two pilots were aboard the Air Force (Jaguar) trainer aircraft One has died and the other is admitted in the hospital.
