    Indore: The upcoming schedule of the ‘Mukhyamantri Tirtha Darshan Yojana’ of the Madhya Pradesh government has been released. From September 14 to February 26, 2025, senior citizens of the state will be taken on a religious tour in many cities. This time, religious places like Varanasi, Kashi, Rameswaram, Mathura-Vrindavan, Kamakhya, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Dwarka, Jagannathpuri, Shirdi and Nagpur have been determined for the citizens in the Tirtha Darshan Yojana by the Religious Trust and Religious Affairs Department.

    During this time, more than 15 thousand pilgrims will travel to different pilgrimage sites. The benefit of the scheme will be given to such senior citizens of the state, who are not income tax payers and are 60 years or above. At the same time, in the case of female pilgrims, a relaxation of two years has been given in the age group. The first train of “Mukhyamantri Tirtha Darshan Yojana” will leave from Ujjain to Varanasi Kashi, Ayodhya on September 14.

    In this, 300 devotees from Ujjain district, 200 from Sehore and 279 from Vidisha will travel. This train will return on 19 September. The second train will leave for Rameswaram on 21 September. In this, 300 pilgrims from Indore, 200 from Ujjain and 279 from Sehore will leave. This train will return on 26 September. While the third train will leave from Meghnagar on 19 September for Mathura-Vrindavan pilgrimage and will return on 2 October. In this, 200 pilgrims from Jhabua, 279 from Ratlam and 300 from Ujjain will travel.

    Apart from this, the fourth train going for pilgrimage will leave from Ujjain for Kamakhya on 13 October. In this, 300 passengers from Ujjain, 200 from Shajapur and 279 from Sehore will leave. This train will return on 18 October. Under the scheme, the fifth train will leave from Indore for Amritsar on 21 October. In this, 200 passengers will leave from Indore, 100 from Dhar, 200 from Ujjain and 279 from Shivpuri. This train will return on 24 October.

    The sixth train will leave from Vidisha on November 5 for Varanasi and Ayodhya pilgrimage sites with 300 passengers. This will include 279 passengers from Sagar and 200 from Damoh. This train will return on November 10. The seventh train will leave from Bhopal for Rameswaram on November 13. In this, 200 pilgrims will leave from Sehore and 279 from Narmadapuram. This train will return on November 18. Under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana, the eighth train will leave from Rewa to Dwarka on November 21. In this, 279 passengers will leave from Rewa, 300 from Satna and 200 from Damoh, who will return on November 26.


    On the other hand, the ninth train will depart from Damoh on November 29 for Varanasi Kashi Ayodhya pilgrimage site, in which 279 passengers from Damoh, 200 from Maihar and 300 from Satna will go. The tenth train will depart from Katni on December 7 for Dwarka pilgrimage site with 200 pilgrims. It will include 279 passengers from Damoh and 300 from Sagar, this train will return on December 12.

    Under the scheme, the eleventh train will depart from Satna on December 15 for Rameswaram pilgrimage site with 279 passengers. It will include 200 passengers from Katni and 300 from Jabalpur. This train will return on December 30. The twelfth train will depart from Khandwa on December 23 for Jagannathpuri pilgrimage site in Orissa, which will return on December 28. It will carry 279 passengers from Khandwa, 200 from Narsinghpur and 300 from Jabalpur.

    The thirteenth train will leave from Betul for Kamakhya pilgrimage site on 31 December. In this, 300 pilgrims from Vidisha and 200 from Damoh will depart. This train will return on 5 January. The fourteenth train for Varanasi Kashi Ayodhya pilgrimage site will leave from Seoni on 8 January, in which 279 passengers from Seoni, 300 from Chhindwara and 200 from Betul will depart. This train will return on 13 January.

    The fifteenth train will leave from Chhindwara for Rameswaram on 16 January with 200 passengers. In which 200 pilgrims from Seoni-Betul and 179 from Padurna will depart. This train will return on 21 January. The sixteenth train from Anuppur for Varanasi Kashi Ayodhya pilgrimage site will leave on 24 January with 279 passengers, in which 300 passengers from Shahdol and 200 from Umaria will depart. This train will return on 29 January.

    The 17th train will leave from Umaria for Shirdi on 1 February carrying 279 pilgrims, 200 from Katni and 300 from Jabalpur. This train will return on 4 February. The 18th train will leave from Morena for Rameswaram pilgrimage site on 7 February, 279 from Morena, 300 from Gwalior and 200 from Datia. This train will return on 12 February.

    The 19th train will leave from Chhatarpur to Dwarka on 15 February, 279 from Chhatarpur, 200 from Tikamgarh and 300 from Ujjain. This train will return on 20 February. The 20th train of Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana will leave for Nagpur from Bhind on February 23 with 279 pilgrims, which will include 300 pilgrims from Gwalior and 200 pilgrims from Datia. This train will return on February 26.
