Former MP Navneet Rana receives threat of sexual abuse, ransom of Rs 10 crore demanded

New Delhi. A letter has been sent to Maharashtra BJP leader and former MP Navneet Rana demanding Rs 10 crore. After Navneet Rana’s complaint, the police have registered a case and started investigation. A person named Aamir sent a letter to the former Amravati MP through speed post and demanded money.

Rana’s personal secretary Vinod Guhe has filed a formal complaint at the Rajapeth police station in Amravati, alleging that the letter was received by an employee at Rana’s residence on October 11.

The complainant said that the person who sent the letter has said that he has taken a ‘contract’ for Rana and threatened to sexually exploit her. The police officer said that the police have registered an FIR and are investigating the matter.

Navneet Rana was in the headlines recently. In fact, Navneet Rana had launched a scathing attack on Akbaruddin Owaisi and his brother Asaduddin Owaisi in Hyderabad, saying that if the police are removed from duty for 15 seconds, the brothers “will not know where they came from and where they went.”

It is worth noting that this case of receiving a threatening letter is more sensitive due to the murder of Baba Siddiqui. Navneet Rana had joined the BJP before the Lok Sabha elections this year. Her husband Ravi is also active in politics. Ravi is an MLA from Badnera assembly seat from Amravati district of Maharashtra.
