Former Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Captain Jaipal Singh passes away

Bhopal: Senior Congress leader Captain Jaipal Singh Judeo, who was the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has passed away. Jaipal Singh was 80 years old. He breathed his last on Saturday (November 2) at around 7.00 am. His last rites will be performed in Panna. There is a wave of mourning in the political world after the news of the death of Jaipal Singh Judeo. Former Union Minister Arun Yadav paid tribute to him on social media.

Former minister Arun Yadav wrote on social media account X, “The news of the death of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s colleague, former Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Captain Jaipal Singh Judeo ji is sad and painful. May God give place to the departed soul in his lotus feet and give strength to the bereaved family to bear the grief. Om Shanti.”

Congress spokesperson Avnish Singh Bundela has also expressed grief over the death of Jaipal Singh by posting on social media X. He wrote, “Sad news today dated 2/11/2024, our former Home Minister (Madhya Pradesh Government) Shri Captain Jaipal Singh Judev (Panna), is no more with us. May God grant peace to his soul Om Shanti Om.” For information, let us tell you that Captain Jaipal Singh Judev has been a two-time MLA from Pawai Assembly. He was one of Rajiv Gandhi’s special friends. Jaipal Singh has also been a pilot with Rajiv Gandhi. It is said that their friendship happened during aviation training. Jaipal Singh joined Congress at the behest of Rajiv Gandhi.
