Jeddah: Today (25 November) is the second day of the mega auction of Indian Premier League 2025. Now on the second day, 25 November (Monday), there will be an auction in which a maximum of 132 players will be sold. A total of Rs 173.55 crore is left in the purse of all 10 teams to buy them. The IPL mega auction is being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Kavya Maran’s Sunrisers Hyderabad bought 6 players on the day of IPL 2025 mega auction, but today (25 November) there was a special demand for Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the social media platform ‘X’.

On the first day of the mega auction on 24 November (Sunday), money rained on domestic and foreign players. During this, 72 players were sold. But a different trend started on social media for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, fans tweeted a lot in his support. Fans demanded from Sunrisers Hyderabad team owner and CEO Kavya Maran to bring Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the team.

SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad) had spent Rs 4 crore 20 lakh on 34-year-old Bhuvneshwar Kumar. But SRH released him before the auction. Now Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s base price in IPL 2025 auction is Rs 2 crore.

SRH retained these players for IPL 2025
Sunrisers Hyderabad has retained five players for IPL 2025. These include Heinrich Klaasen (23 crores), Pat Cummins (18 crores), Abhishek Sharma (14 crores), Travis Head (14 crores), Nitish Reddy (6 crores).

Eyes on these players on the second day of the auction
Some players were disappointed. However, today big stars like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Phillips, Sam Curran, Kane Williamson, Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Lockie Ferguson, Tim David, Will Jacks, Naveen Ul Haq, Steve Smith, Nitish Rana and Ajinkya Rahane will participate in the auction.
