New Delhi. A man’s ex-girlfriend has thrown his Rs 6000 crore in the trash heap. After this, the man is searching like crazy. Let us tell you that the girl accidentally threw a hard drive, which had about 8000 bitcoins. Its value is 569 million pounds i.e. 6000 crores. James Howles, a resident of Wales, is now searching for it.
Howles’ ex-girlfriend Hafina Eddie-Evans told that she threw the hard drive in the trash without knowing that it contained bitcoins. Talking to Daily Mail, Eddie-Evans said, “Yes, I threw it in the trash. He himself asked me to do so. I put the old part of the computer and other items in a black bag and threw it in the trash. I did not know what was in it. I did this for cleaning.” Howles will fight a legal battle
Now Howles has filed a case against the local council in court, so that he can get permission to dig the garbage dump and find the hard drive. However, there is a big obstacle in his way. The garbage pile is 110,000 tons. Howles also said that if he finds his lost property, he will donate 10% of it to his local area.
Eddie-Evans’ response
Eddie-Evans said that she wants Howles to find the hard drive so that he stops talking about it. She said, “I did what he said, but I am tired of hearing all this now.”
Newport City Council responded to the matter, saying that Howles’ requests to dig the garbage dump have been rejected since 2013. The council says that digging is not possible under environmental permissions. The council said: “We are the only body authorised to conduct operations at this site. Howells’ claim is unfounded and we are strongly contesting it.”
The matter has caused tension locally. It remains to be seen whether Howells is successful in finding his lost property.
