ED summons Robert Vadra, summoned for the second time in Shikohpur land scam case

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate has summoned Robert Vadra in the Shikohpur land scam case. He has been summoned for the second time. Earlier, he was summoned on April 8 but he did not appear before the ED.

Vadra has been asked to appear before the ED today itself. The ED suspects that Vadra has done money laundering. Robert Vadra’s company Skylight Hospitality Private Limited was given 3.53 acres of land in Gurugram for Rs 7.50 crore in the name of developing a colony.

The Haryana government gave a license to Robert Vadra’s company, allowing it to develop 2.70 acres of this land as a commercial colony. But instead of developing the colony, Robert Vadra’s company sold this land to DLF Universal Limited in 2012 for Rs 58 crore.

It is alleged that Robert Vadra’s company Skylight Hospitality Private Limited had earned crores of rupees of profit by selling this land, which was obtained at a low price from the Haryana government, to DLF Universal Limited.

Robert Vadra’s company Skylight Hospitality Private Limited had sold this land to DLF Universal Limited through a sale deal on 18 September 2012, but the Town and Country Planning of the Haryana Government did not give the final permission to transfer the license.
