New Delhi. Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR early this morning. The National Center for Seismology said that a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on Wednesday morning, the tremors of which were felt in many parts of India including the Delhi-NCR region.
According to the NCS, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 75 km. An earthquake of 5.9 magnitude is considered enough to cause serious damage, especially near the epicenter. However, there is no news of any casualties or damage so far.
