    Division of departments among Delhi government ministers, CM Atishi will have 13 departments

    New Delhi: The division of departments has been done among the ministers of Delhi government. Chief Minister Atishi has kept 13 departments with herself. Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has been given the responsibility of 8 departments. Gopal Rai has been given three and Kailash Gehlot has been given 5 departments. Imran Hussain has been given two and Mukesh Ahlawat has been given the responsibility of 5 departments.

    Gopal Rai will have three departments including environment. Kailash Gehlot will take charge of four departments including transport, women and child development. Imran Hussain will take charge of food supply and election department. Mukesh Ahlawat will become the SC-ST minister of Delhi, and will also handle four more departments including labor.


    The departments with Atishi include PWD, Power, Education, Higher Education, Training and Technical Education, Public Relations Department, Revenue, Finance, Planning, Service, Vigilance, Water, Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs departments. Apart from this, those departments will also remain with the CM which have not been given to any other minister.

    Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has been given the responsibility of 8 departments. He will have the responsibility of Urban Development, Irrigation and Fluid Control, Health, Industry, Art-Culture and Language, Tourism, Social Welfare, Cooperative Department. The three ministries given to Gopal Rai include Development, General Administration Department, Environment, Forest and Wildlife. Gopal Rai was also a minister in the previous government and most of these ministries were already with him.

    In the Atishi government, Kailash Gehlot has been given the responsibility of Transport, Administrative Reform, Information and Technology, Home, Women and Child Development Ministry Department. Gehlot was also a minister in the previous government and this time also he has been included in the cabinet. Cabinet Minister Imran Hussain has been given the responsibility of Food and Supply and Election Department. At the same time, Mukesh Ahlawat, who has become a new cabinet minister, has been given the responsibility of Gurudwara Election, S-ST, Land and Building, Labor and Employment Department.

    After Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, the command of Delhi has now been handed over to Atishi. Along with Atishi, 5 MLAs took oath as ministers. Atishi has previously been a minister in the Kejriwal government. At the same time, four ministers of the current government have also handled the responsibility of many ministries in the previous government. Mukesh Ahlawat has been included in the government for the first time.
